Social Profiles

When it comes to the web, I’m all over the place. Below you will find a list of some of the many places you can find me online. I try to stay active in social media, so feel free to connect with or contact me on any of the following networks. I’d love to hear from you!

Most Active Profiles

Twitter

Twitter is by far my most active profile. If you want to see what I’ve been up to, that’s your best bet. I like to participate in chats, share articles I find interesting, and hold conversations with interesting people there. It’s also where I post links to all of the content I write around the web, so if you want to read up on the latest tech trends or possibly learn something, follow me!

Facebook

I also try to stay active on Facebook, although I try to keep my page for personal use only. You can send me a friend request if you’d like, but I’m more prone to accepting invites from people I have had lengthy conversations with on profiles like Twitter. I used to accept everyone, but there were just too many marketers. I do, however, run a fan page associated with my Social Branding Blog, so you might want to check that out.

LinkedIn

LinkedIn is my professional profile. It acts as my online resume and I am constantly tweaking and updating it to fit my current needs. I have my work history, blog posts, skills and abilities, resume, and goals listed there, and I use it as a networking tool. I’m not nearly as active as I’d like to be on LinkedIn, but I’m getting there.

Secondary Profiles

Google

My Google profile links to a lot of my other websites and social profiles, but I’m not as active on there as some of the other profiles listed here. Whenever I’m on Google Reader, I try to share some of the articles I find interesting, along with some of the articles I’ve written for various websites. Feel free to follow me on there if you like, you never know when I’m going to share something great.

Friendfeed

I rarely check my Friendfeed account, but it is fairly active since I have all of my tweets from Twitter forwarded there. So if you like Friendfeed’s layout better and would like to read my tweets, you can check out my profile. I’m thinking that Friendfeed will get better with time, but until it does I don’t really see a point to use it all that much.

Technorati

Once again, I’m not very active on Technorati, but it is a good place for you to see all of my blogs. Right now I only own one blog that I update frequently but who knows, maybe I’ll build a blog empire one day. Once I’m able to pay an army of writers to work for me, the sky is the limit! You can write a review of my blogs from my profile if you’d like.

Social Bookmarking

Digg

Want to be my friend on Digg? I do try to check this site regularly, although I sometimes forget about it or don’t have time. If you want to get a feel for the types of stories/humor I’m into though, look no further than my Digg profile.

StumbleUpon

Just like Digg, I try to stay active on StumbleUpon but I sometimes don’t get to. While I use Digg for more news and comic relief, I share a lot of interesting and useful links on my StumbleUpon account. Whenever I’m bored, I try to see what I can stumble upon, if I’m not working on my website, of course.

Media

Grooveshark

I didn’t even know I had a profile on Grooveshark until I started making this page to be honest with you, but I’m glad I noticed it. I made the switch over from Pandora a while ago because Grooveshark just seems to have a better setup, more features, and less ads. I love listening to music and you can find me listening to anything from 70′s rock to modern hip-hop. Become my fan so we can talk music.

YouTube

My YouTube profile used to be pretty popular back when I was in college. I once had a video with over 100,000 views actually. Lately though YouTube has just been a place where I favorite hilarious or inspiring videos. Between this and TED.com is where I probably consume 75% of my video content. Check out my profile if you like, I only favorite the best!
